Les Chiens De Saint-Tropez 2 Book

We are delighted to share with you our second photo book project named ‘LES CHIENS DE SAINT-TROPEZ’. It was out of love for dogs and the village that this idea came to life. For this project, we photographed, once again, dogs from Tropéziennes and Tropéziens, tourists and people that have their second home in Saint-Tropez, together with their owners in typical places of Saint-Tropez: the port, the old town, La Ponche, la Citadelle, shops, beaches, etc.

Famous icon and animal lover Brigitte Bardot lives in Saint-Tropez surrounded by her beloved dogs. Of course, we dedicated several pages to Brigitte and her dogs and she was so kind to write a story straight from her heart to publish our book. The 'Verhulstjes' are also starring in this book with their dog's Leo and Marcel (†).

The organization was carried out by Catherine Diekmann, Ambre Velicitat is the photographer, Rob Simons is the designer, Leena Hybinette-Bergknut, Catherine Diekmann and Danielle Dessart where responsible for copywriting and translation and Danielle is also the artistic director and the publisher.

The project consists of a book with photos of dogs and the owners and an accompanying editorial on the relationship between the dog, his master and Saint-Tropez. In addition, a photo exhibition showing the pictures of the book will be organized in spring 2023 in Saint-Tropez. This expo will take place in the Salle Jean Despas and is open free to the public on April 22 and 23.
