With the Save My Pet sticker, the emergency services can immediately see whether pets are present in the home in the event of a fire, gas leak or CO poisoning. If you are not at home, this sticker may be the only source of information for the emergency services.
WHAT MAKES THE STICKER UNIQUE?
After consultation with the fire department and a lot of research, we have developed the most efficient sticker. The Save My Pet sticker consists of 2 parts:
1. The base layer is a solid sticker foil. This special foil provides reflection in the dark.
2. There is a protective layer. This transparent laminate makes the sticker longer-term resistant to water and sun.
Together this gives a strong and durable sticker. The large icon clearly indicates which and how many animals may be inside.
WHERE BEST TO STICK?
Stick the sticker in a clearly visible place, preferably at eye level at the (main) entrance.
THE STICKER IS A VISUAL TOOL FOR THE EMERGENCY SERVICES AND DOES NOT PROVIDE A WARRANTY TO RESCUE YOUR PET(S) UNDER ANY CONDITIONS.
WHY STICKER A SAVE MY PET STICKER?
With this sticker, the emergency services can immediately see whether pets are present in the home in the event of a fire, gas leak or CO poisoning. If you are not at home during an intervention, this sticker may be the only source of information for the emergency services. Attention! This sticker is a visual aid during interventions. Sticking this sticker does not guarantee that your pet(s) will be saved.
WHAT MAKES THE SAVE MY PET STICKER UNIQUE?
The Save My Pet sticker is printed on a very strong retro-reflective film. Light (from a flashlight, for example) reflects back on it, making the sticker glow in the dark and thus stand out. The same material is used for traffic signs. The pictogram makes it clear in the blink of an eye which animal it is.
WHERE TO STICK?
We recommend sticking the Save My Pet sticker in a clearly visible place. Preferably at eye level near the main entrance. For a larger house with multiple entrances, we recommend sticking several stickers. The self-adhesive adheres best to flat surfaces such as glass, metal and PVC.
I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT
For an apartment building up to 8 floors, the fire service recommends sticking stickers in 2 places. One on your own front door or entrance hall and the other on the patio door or a window facing the street. For an apartment building +8 floors, hang the sticker on your own front door or entrance hall. What is also recommended is to make a list of which animals live where. And hang this list in the general entrance hall.
UP TO DATE / REMOVAL
Always keep the sticker up to date. This way, the emergency services always receive the correct information. Our stickers are made to withstand the weather conditions for 5 years. As a result, it may happen that adhesive residue remains when the sticker is removed. These are easy to remove with a little acetone. Do not stick the sticker on wood or painted surfaces to avoid damage during removal.
